All of us here at Estes Park KOA, hope you will consider our Estes Park KOA RV Park and
Kampground as your choice for lodging when you visit our beautiful town of Estes Park,
Colorado, gateway to the awesome Rocky Mountain National Park. When you want to camp Colorado, and you
are in the mood for a cabin experience, then consider our cozy cabin or romantic cottage lodging option,
we offer a very unique and rustic cabin or cottage experience
at competitive rates. For those of you who are tenters or RVers, we have a site for you.
Our business season runs from May 1st to October 15th each year.
We happen to be situated in the actual town limits of Estes Park. We have an excellent assortment
of terrific camping experiences including tent sites, RV sites, Kamper Kabins and Kamper Kottages.
Kamping Kabins are cozy, rustic and warm
1 or 2 room structures which
include a heater and a combination of double bed and bunk bed(s) with
comfortable mattresses. Our 1 room Kamping Kabin sleeps 4 and our 2 room
sleep 6. Each is equipped with an outside fire pit, porch, deck with picnic
table and majestic views of the surrounding Rocky Mountain National Park,
Longs Peak and adjacent mountain peaks. Bathroom and bathing facilities are
a short walk away in our main campground building. So .. just bring your bed
linens or bedroll, your camping spirit and you are set for a memory making
Estes Park KOA Kamping Kabin experience.
Kamping Kottages, as a dramatically upgraded Kabin experience, are now
available at the Estes Park KOA campground! Kamper Kottages are private,
romantic Kabin like structures with a kitchenette, dining area, gas fireplace,
Cable TV, air conditioning, bathroom/shower, grill and front porch swing.
They sleep up to four people, one double bed and a futon that folds out into a
double. The kitchenette has a stove top, microwave, refrigerator, dishes,
pots and pans. So, again, just bring your bed linens or bedroll, your
camping spirit and you are set for a memory making Estes Park KOA Kamping
Kottage experience. And the views of the mountains are out of this world!

On site we have a basketball court, playground, game room, FREE WiFi,
ice cream socials, pancake breakfasts, a 1st rate store with something for everyone and spectacular views.

Just a short 10 minute drive away, on the other side of town, are two entrances to the
spectacular and internationally recognized and renowned Rocky Mountain National Park
and its famous Trail Ridge Road, the highest highway in the United States and breath-taking vistas.

Just next door to the west, is the amazing Sombrero Ranch Stables. SRS is arguably the largest
horseback riding stables in the state. Just walk over to take advantage
of a wide assortment of horseback rides. They have a fabulous program.

Walk across the street, maybe a 100 yards, and fly fish (catch-and-release) in the Lower Big Thompson River.
The water across the street is the beginning of 30 miles of alpine trout fishing as the Big Thompson River
starts its journey down the Big Thompson Canyon.

Just a little further west, maybe 200 yards, is the Lake Estes Marina with boat rentals, fishing, et al.

Just down the road to the east, maybe 200 yards, is a large family fun center with miniature
golf, batting practice cages, go-karts, lots, lots more ..

There are several quality restaurants within minutes and a whole range of palate tempting restaurants
within 10 minutes. Get ready to be served Estes Park style.

Little farther a field in the area is a vast array of recreational options,
including hiking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, bike riding, mountain biking,
rock climbing, golf, tennis, hockey, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, ice-skating,
snow boarding, mountain tours, carriage rides, hay rides, backpacking, white water rafting,
swimming, and much, much more. Visitors to our community and the Rocky Mountain Park
frequently find 3-4 days is not enough to fully experience the full range
of recreational options.
